The Spockholm Toolbar

Installation

The Spockholm Toolbar needs to be installed in the form of a Chrome Extension or FireFox Add-On.
To add the Spockholm Mafia Toolbar from the Chrome Web Store, follow the steps below.

1. Go to the Spockholm Mafia Toolbar Chrome Web Store Page by using the link below or clicking on the image.

2. Click on the blue “+ADD TO CHROME” button.

3. Confirm the new extension by clicking the “Add” button.

4. Look for a verification popup in the upper right corner of your screen.

5. To manage this extension, follow the steps in the first set of instructions. It’s the same toolbar as you’ve always had but there is a little cute Spockholm icon now. 

If your version of Chrome doesn’t prompt you to add extensions from the Chrome Store than the same link you’ve always used to install the toolbar will work. For more information on installing the Spockholm Mafia Toolbar, go to this Spockholm Mafia Forum Thread.

   How to install the Spockholm Toolbar in Chrome version 21+
   1. Download the extension file from the website and save it to your computer (right click, save file as),http://cdn.spocklet.com/spockholm_toolbar_lite.user.js
   2. Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
   3. Select Tools > Extensions.
   4. Locate the extension file on your computer and drag the file onto the Extensions page.

   Note that the filename needs to be intact. If you have previously downloaded the file, Chrome adding (1) to the name will break things.

   Tampermonkey
   Using Tampermonkey will work too, but is not necessary.

   Why so complicated?
   Chrome updated their security policies, you can read more herehttp://support.google.com/chrome_webstore/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=2664769&p=crx_warning

   Basically, greasemonkey scripts are no longer 1-click install. Script files needs to be loaded from a https source if you are using that protocol.
   Overriding the https source can be done via the command line flag:
   --allow-running-insecure-content

   Common problems
   Q: When dragging to extensions tab all I see is a page of code.
   A: Double check the downloaded filename, it should be "spockholm_toolbar_lite.user.js". No (1) at end or other characters.

   Q: Chrome keeps telling me I need to visit web store to install extensions.
   A: Right click, save file as. Do not left click file.

   
   

FireFox

Installing the Spockholm Toolbar in FireFox requires an extra step because you need to install Greasemonkey first. Go here to install the Greasemonkey Add-On and click on "Add to FireFox".

Wait the 5 seconds for it to prepare.

Click on Install to begin the installation process.

Restart FireFox from the installation popup that will appear in the bottom left corner of your screen.

If you did everything right, you will now have a cute little smiling monkey in the upper right or bottom right corner of your screen.

If you don't see this monkey anywhere, you can check from your Tools Tab to make sure Greasemonkey is enabled. To do this go to the Tools Tab located in the upper right of your screen, click on Greasemonkey from the drop down menu and make sure there is a check next to Enabled. If Greasemonkey isn't installed properly and enabled, you won't be able to install the Spockholm Toolbar.

Now you can install the Spockholm Toolbar by following the step below.

1.  Ensure that Greasemonkey is enabled.  You can check on it from the Greasemonkey icon located in the upper right corner of your screen. This is also how you can turn it off when needed.

2.  Go to http://cdn.spocklet.com/spockholm_toolbar_lite.user.js. You will see Greasemonkey doing its thing.

3. Click on "Install" from the popup window.

3.  When the installation process is complete, you will be notified in the lower right corner of your screen.

6.  To manage your Spockholm Toolbar in FireFox, click on Tools located in the and then Add-ons.

7. A list of your Add-ons will appear. From here you can temporarily turn off the Spockholm Toolbar by clicking on "Disable" or delete it by clicking on "Remove".

Overview

Once the Spockholm Toolbar is installed, it will automatically load on top of the Game Header.
